About me

Q. Hi Vittoria, tell me something about your journey to become a kinesiologist.

A. I’ve worked as a kinesiologist since 2012. Before that, I was a Scientist and Researcher at the University, focusing on a holistic model for assessing welfare and stress responses in farmed animals. Despite loving my work, I felt limited by the confines of scientific paradigms.

In 2007, after having my first child, struggling with my wellbeing, I sought answers beyond science and began seeing a kinesiologist for help.

Experiencing significant improvement, I decided to study kinesiology in 2009. I’ve been passionate about it since, as it allows me to marry my questioning mind with an intuitive healing modality.

Obtaining my Diploma in Kinesiology in 2012, I started my practice.

Q. I see you're also a qualified Mindset Results Coach.

A. Yes, I completed my training in 2023.  I felt coaching skills would complement my work effectively. Coaching, combined with kinesiology, accelerates transformation by identifying core values. Working with shadow values is particularly fascinating as they can either hinder progress or propel us toward our goals swiftly.

Q. You're also interested in meditation, how did that come about?

A. Meditation entered my life around the same time as kinesiology.

Understanding the mind’s workings and our potential for gradual change fascinated me. It helped me deconstruct negative experiences, leading to constructive emotional and mental processes.

Q. How does meditation inspire your work as a kinesiologist and a coach?

A. Meditation, beyond formal practice, permeates every aspect of our being. It’s a training to develop our full potential, so I try to bring my meditation practice with me, always, developing a positive motivation and it naturally becomes part of my work as a kinesiologist and coach.

Clients started noticing benefits when I started practicing Chagwang NgalSo Reiki, a Tibetan healing practice through hands that I received from my teacher, a Lama Healer. They feel calmer, extremely relaxed and more in touch with their intuition. And I have more energy available.

About Me Vittoria Tosi

Q. What do you love about kinesiology?

A. Kinesiology is a powerful tool for transformation. By pinpointing areas where your qi (energy) is stuck, it facilitates gentle, organic shifts.

With kinesiology healing becomes the journey to restore our natural harmony and connection to the world around us.

Q. Why do you think kinesiology combined with coaching is such a powerful healing modality?

A. Coaching is a powerful complement to my kinesiology practice, allowing me to support clients in developing a growth mindset, building resilience, and achieving their goals. Coaching is such a great alchemical tool because it allows us to find value in our experiences. When we uncover the value in a challenging experience, we can shift our resistance and create space for growth, leading to healthier habits and a more empowered life.  And that is the key to transformation and to achieve goals.

Q. How would you sum up your philosophy?

A. I resonate with the 5 element philosophy which emphasises continual transformation. My qi work draws heavily from Chinese Medicine, recognising challenges as opportunities for growth.

“Seeds that rest all winter will sprout in spring, the compost pile made up of our food leftovers will become soil rich in nutrients and carbon atoms will turn into diamonds. In the same way our personal challenges have the potential to transform us so that our consciousness can expand and our life journey can have a meaning.

Q. What tools do you use in your practice?

A. During a kinesiology session I often use Acupressure, Essential Oils, Flower Essences, Tuning Forks, and a somatic process called Inner sensing tailored to individual needs. That means I can use the right tool for the right person at the right time.

In coaching sessions, we engage in creative thought provoking processes. Through open and exploratory conversations we uncover your goals, values, and challenges. To deepen our work, I guide you through gentle, closed-eyes processes and visualization techniques that help you tap into your inner wisdom, clarify your thoughts, and access your full potential.

Q. What else are you passionate about?

A.  Chinese Medicine, nature and travel top my list of passions. I enjoy exploring different cultures and engaging in meditation retreats, mostly in Indonesia, Nepal and Italy.
